Who We Are
Welcome to the El Campo Church of Christ, a non-denominational fellowship of Christians who love God and love one another. El Campo is located along the coastal region of Texas, about 65 miles southwest of Houston.
The town El Campo is referred to as the "Pearl of the Prairie" which dates back to the early 1880's when the town was a cattle-crossing area. At night, approaching cowboys could see the glow of lanterns in the sky, and the reflected light was described as looking like a pearl on the prairie. We at El Campo Church of Christ are committed to reflecting light, not from lanterns of yester-year, but the eternal light of Jesus. "In Him was life, and that life was the light of men".
We are delighted to have you visit us on the web and we would love to have the opportunity to meet you in person. The life we are all seeking, the one that truly satisfies, is found only in a saving relationship with Jesus. We proclaim Jesus as Lord and live our lives joyously in Him.
